Peter Ramzi is passionate about community development, business, and entrepreneurship. He
has a 22-year track record in the global hospitality industry, holding leadership positions in top
hotel chains.
As Regional Commercial Director for Hotelbeds Spain, Peter leverages technology to enhance
business operations and boost sales.
He also spearheads ventures including TTH Travel, WS Expedition, and Impact for Community
Development and Educational Training, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment
to innovation.
Martin Klopper is originally from South Africa but has also lived, studied, and worked in the UK. He has also lived for more than 20 years in China and now lives in the United Arab Emirates. Martin is committed to making a difference through leadership, professional excellence, and dedicated service. LifePlus Worldwide Learning is an educational services company with around 900 staff worldwide and runs six international schools in China as well as a school in the UAE and LifePlus Online Academy. Martin has a business background, and he loves seeing new ventures becoming successful and has experience in seeing many start-ups succeed. Martin has experience in overseeing community development programmes and projects in China.
We aim to support community schools in underprivileged areas to reduce barriers to learning by providing professional development and training opportunities that equip educational leaders, staff and parents in their roles and responsibilities to meet the needs of the students. Providing consulting services to schools that serve overlooked communities and University sponsorship programs.
Our goal is to provide underprivileged children and youth with access to Sports facilities and equipment through Sports programs, we inspire young athletes to reach their full potential, and develops physical and mental health, enhancing their skills, teamwork, discipline, leadership and self-confidence. Ultimately, our goal is to create a sustainable pipeline of talented athletes.
For youth and adults living through tough circumstances is a crucial component of promoting their self-sufficiency and integration into their host communities.
Providing an entrepreneurship course for youth to equip them with the skills and knowledge required to engage in entrepreneurial activities and create sustainable livelihoods.
Quality Vocational training programs that equip community members with marketable skills can lead to better employment opportunities, higher income, and long-term financial stability. Moreover, providing resources for entrepreneurship and small business development, including business planning and micro financing support. We can create additional job opportunities and promote economic growth within the community.
Our organization is dedicated to providing affordable healthcare services to underprivileged communities that lack access to basic healthcare by employing a two-pronged approach:
Physical Health:Impact sees the need to focus on promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention in underprivileged communities. We plan to provide them with education and awareness that promote overall health. This approach will include access to healthcare services and entail hosting workshops and partnering with local health services that can train these communities.
Mental Health:Our Mental Health program is dedicated to improving the lives of those in underprivileged communities by creating a supportive community where individuals can thrive and reach their full potential. Our outreach programs include workshops, support groups, and educational sessions. Our partners of licensed Therapists and professionals are committed to providing personalized care and treatment to meet the specific needs of each individual. We believe in a holistic approach to Mental Health care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social aspects of well-being.
In March of 2023, the director of the educational program at Impact conducted a series of afternoon training sessions over the course of three days, aimed at the Sudanese school community, Cairo. The training sessions themselves were designed to provide the teaching staff and school leadership with an enhanced awareness of creating trauma-informed schools through engaging discussion, as well as offering practical solutions that would enable them to equip teachers with the necessary tools to facilitate trauma-sensitive classrooms.
A retreat day organized by IMPACT the attendees had access to activities such as workshops, discussions and personal growth. Activities for kids were also available. The main goal of the event was to connect diverse Sudanese adults, allowing them to share experiences and form new connections.
We recognize the fundamental role that sports play in the healthy development of children, which is why we recently organized a sports day camp at Track in collaboration with a private university in Oklahoma. This initiative provided a unique opportunity for Sudanese children to engage in a day filled with physical activity, friendly competition, and outdoor fun.
IMPACT collaborated with Oasis to provide entrepreneurship training for Sudanese refugees, which is essential for their success and integration into their new community. Around 20 participants were trained in business management and the resulting business plans are being reviewed for incubation support for one project. Empowering refugees through entrepreneurship training helps them build successful businesses and realize their dreams.
